Information We Don't Collect
Unlike many applications, TimeDot does not:
- Collect personal information
- Track your usage patterns
- Store your time data on our servers
- Use cookies for tracking purposes
- Share any information with third parties
Local Data Storage
All your time visualization data is stored locally:
- Windows Application: Data is stored locally on your device
- Web Application: Data is stored in your browser's local storage
- Chrome Extension: Data is stored in the extension's storage
- Mobile Applications: Data is stored in your device's local application storage
This local-first approach means you maintain complete control over your data.
Open Source Commitment
TimeDot is open source software. This means:
- Our code is publicly available for review
- The community can verify our privacy claims
- You can inspect how your data is handled
You can find our source code at our GitHub repository.
Optional Anonymous Usage Statistics
While we don't collect user data by default, we offer an entirely optional feature to share anonymous usage statistics to help improve the application. If you choose to enable this feature:
- All data is anonymized and contains no personal identifiers
- Only application performance metrics are collected
- You can disable this feature at any time
- The anonymized data is never sold or shared with third parties
This feature is disabled by default and requires explicit opt-in from users.

TimeDot applications do not integrate with third-party analytics or tracking services. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking technologies.
Data Backup and Export
You can export your time visualization data at any time in common formats. These exports are initiated by you and stored locally on your device.
